Practice using it prior to the eventI loved the look and feel of the hair clip. In order for it to stay in your hair I needed to secure my hair up with Bobby pins, then put clip in behind Bobby pins. It was very secure doing it this way. It came with Bobby pins that worked great with it!! Overall a great product, seems very durable. I used it for a formal fundraiser event.
